Internazionale fashioned a second victory in two games from this tight contest with the West Hollywood lads. The Griffith Park surface has always dragged a little more class out of the boys, but it was the midfield donkey work of Gavin Bates, Ivan Pardo and Alex Barco that made Inter look particularly special.
Benny Scott’s best ever performance in an Inter shirt found him to the left of goal touching the ball onto his left from his right and then a blistering finish brought us level after their early goal.
But it was the passing work, especially with a little more composure out of the back, that did for the Eclipse and I claim the decisive pass to Alex that got him into their final third. But it was Alex’s great close ball work that had him beat two defenders and finish with aplomb.
Well done all round though, a great effort.
